„Rodzina Bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego” powstała z inicjatywy dobrych serc

Należeć może każdy, kto pragnie być dla innych serdecznie dobrym.

„Rodzinie” tej patronuje zachwycający swą postacią Bł. Edmund Bojanowski, o którym nasz Umiłowany Ojciec Święty Jan Paweł II podczas beatyfikacji w Warszawie, dnia 13 czerwca 1999 roku, powiedział m. in. znamienne słowa:

 Apostolstwo miłosierdzia wypełniło życie Błogosławionego Edmunda Bojanowskiego. Mimo wątłego zdrowia, z wytrwałością i hojnością serca prowadził i inspirował szeroką działalność.

 

Wiedziony pełnym wrażliwości rozeznaniem potrzeb, dał początek licznym dziełom wychowawczym, charytatywnym, kulturalnym i religijnym. Zapisał się w pamięci ludzkiej jako „serdecznie dobry człowiek”, który z miłości do Boga i do człowieka umiał skutecznie jednoczyć różne środowiska wokół dobra.

Ta szczególna postać świeckiego człowieka – od dnia Jego beatyfikacji – staje się coraz bardziej znana nie tylko w naszej Ojczyźnie. Jego bowiem życie było całkowicie wypełnione troską o drugiego człowieka, a szczególnie o wychowanie dzieci, a także o chorych, samotnych i potrzebujących pomocy. On już nigdy nie przestanie świadczyć o zbawczej obecności Boga na drogach człowieka.

Powstały kościoły i kaplice pod wezwaniem Bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego, a także szkoły i inne instytucje wychowawcze, które obrały Go za patrona. Podobnie nazwy ulic, co ma też miejsce w naszym mieście. Serca ludzkie poznają Go z licznych publikacji książkowych i artykułów, z kaset i podczas sympozjów. Wciąż napływają prośby, a następnie podziękowania za otrzymane łaski za Jego wstawiennictwem. Pisze o tym młodzież, rodzice, a także starsi i chorzy.

„Czy miłujesz Mnie więcej …” (J 21, 15).

 

Członkowie „Rodziny Bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego” pragną stawać się jak Jezus dla drugich, poprzez niesienie bezinteresownej pomocy w taki sposób, jaki jest możliwy dla każdego z nich. W każdym środowisku nie brak wielorakich okazji.
